How to use

  1. Type an angle in “Value” and choose the units to convert from and to. The page opens on degrees → radians.
  2. For mixed values such as 37°30′, divide the minutes by 60 and enter 37.5 degrees.
  3. “Show all units” lists the same angle in arcminutes, arcseconds, turns, mils and every other unit at once.
  4. The page address keeps your value and units, so you can share the link as is.

FAQ

How many degrees are in a radian?

One radian is 180/π degrees, about 57.2958°. One degree is π/180, about 0.01745 rad.

How do I convert degrees, minutes and seconds?

1° = 60′ = 3600″. So 37°33′36″ is 37 + 33/60 + 36/3600 = 37.56°.

What is the difference between a mil and a milliradian?

A milliradian is exactly 0.001 rad, about 6283 to a full circle. The NATO mil rounds that to 6400 per circle (0.05625° each) so it divides evenly.
