Domain Extractor — Get Domains from URLs

Paste text with links and get a clean list of domains.

Your text and files never leave your browser — nothing is sent to a server.

How to use

  1. Paste a list of links, server logs or any other text.
  2. It finds hosts in full URLs, the part after @ in email addresses, and bare domains such as example.com.
  3. Turn on “Root domain only” to drop subdomains. Common two-part suffixes such as co.uk, com.au and co.jp are kept intact.
  4. Results are lowercased, and the count appears below the list.

FAQ

How are bare domains detected?

Text without http:// is treated as a domain only when it ends in a common top-level domain such as .com, .org or .uk. This avoids picking up file names like readme.md.

Is the root domain always right?

The tool knows the most common two-part suffixes, not the full Public Suffix List, so rare country domains may keep one level too many. Double-check results for critical work.

What about IP addresses and ports?

IP addresses in URLs are kept as they are, while ports such as :8080 and any user:password@ part are removed.
