llms.txt Generator
Fill in your site details and links — your llms.txt is written as you type.
Your text and files never leave your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
Write one link per line as “Title | URL | note”. A bare URL works too.
Upload the file to your site root so it opens at https://yourdomain/llms.txt.
How to use
- Enter your site name and a one- or two-sentence summary. The name becomes the top heading (#) and the summary a blockquote (>).
- Give each link section a title (such as Docs or Guides) and list its links one per line as “Title | URL | note”.
- Put less important links in the “Optional” box at the bottom so an AI can skip them when it needs a shorter context.
- Copy or download the result and upload it to your site root as llms.txt.
FAQ
What is llms.txt?
It is a proposed Markdown file, placed at the root of a site like robots.txt, that gives large language models a quick summary of the site and links to its most useful pages.
Will adding it get my site into AI answers?
There is no guarantee — not every AI service reads it yet. It is quick to make and harmless, though, which is why many documentation sites and online stores publish one.
How is it different from robots.txt and sitemap.xml?
robots.txt says what may be crawled and sitemap.xml lists every URL. llms.txt is a hand-picked list of important pages with short descriptions.
