Count Up Timer from a Date

Pick the date and time you started and watch the elapsed time grow every second.

Your text and files never leave your browser — nothing is sent to a server.

How to use

  1. Type a title if you like and pick the date and time you started. If you don’t know the time, leave it at 00:00.
  2. Press “Start counting” to see the days, hours, minutes and seconds since then, plus the same span in total hours, minutes and seconds.
  3. The day count treats the first day as day 1, the way streaks and anniversaries are usually counted.
  4. Use “Copy link” to open the same counter on another device or share it with someone.

FAQ

Why do “Days passed” and the day count differ by one?

“Days passed” counts full 24-hour periods since the start time. The day count treats the start day as day 1, so it is usually one higher — handy for streaks such as “day 30 without smoking”.

What if I enter a future date?

The counter waits at zero with a note, then starts counting automatically when the date arrives. To see how long is left, use the countdown timer.

Is anything saved on my device?

No. The start time and title are kept only in the page address. Bookmark it or keep the link to come back to the same counter.
