How to use
- Write HTML in the left pane. CSS inside <style> and JavaScript inside <script> run too.
- With “Update as I type” on, the preview redraws whenever you pause. For heavy code, turn it off and click “Refresh” instead.
- Switch “Preview width” to phone or tablet to test your responsive layout.
- When you are done, click “Download” to save it as index.html, or “Copy” to take the code with you.
FAQ
Is it safe to run scripts in the preview?
The preview runs in a sandboxed iframe that only allows scripts, so it cannot reach this site’s cookies or storage, and pop-ups and form submissions are blocked. Still, avoid pasting code from sources you do not trust.
Is my code saved?
No. It disappears when you close or reload the page, and it is never sent to a server. Download or copy it if you want to keep it.
Can I load external CSS, JS or images?
Yes, files served over https can be loaded with <link>, <script src> and <img>. Local file paths on your computer are blocked by the browser.
