    How to use

    2. Choose grayscale, sepia, two-tone black & white or invert under “Effect”.
    3. For two-tone black & white, move the threshold to decide how much turns black. It’s great for cleaning up signatures, stamps and scanned documents.
    4. Hold “Show original” to compare with the original. Images are saved in their original format.

    How is grayscale calculated?

    Each pixel’s brightness is a weighted mix of red, green and blue (roughly 30:59:11), matching how sensitive our eyes are to each color. It looks more natural than a simple average.

    Does it work with transparent PNGs?

    Yes. Transparent areas stay transparent and the result is saved as PNG.

    Are my photos uploaded?

    No. Effects are applied entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
