Excel to HTML Table Converter

Copy cells from your spreadsheet, paste them here and get the HTML table code.

Your text and files never leave your browser — nothing is sent to a server.

How to use

  1. Select cells in Excel or Google Sheets, copy them (Ctrl+C) and paste them into the input box.
  2. Keep “First row as header” on if the first row holds column titles — it becomes a <thead> with <th> cells.
  3. “Escape HTML” makes characters like < and & show up as text. Turn it off only if your cells already contain HTML you want to keep.
  4. Turn on “Inline border styles” for tables that need to look right without a stylesheet, such as in emails, and “Minify” to get a single line.
  5. Copy the code or download it as table.html.

FAQ

What happens to line breaks inside a cell?

Spreadsheets wrap such cells in quotes when you copy them. The converter reads them as one cell and turns the line breaks into <br>.

What if rows have different numbers of cells?

Shorter rows are padded with empty cells so every row has the same number of columns.

Can I convert a CSV file?

Yes. Open the CSV in a text editor, paste its contents and set “Columns separated by” to Comma. Quoted values with commas or line breaks are handled.
