How to use

  1. Press a quick preset such as “5 min” and the timer starts right away.
  2. For any other length, enter hours, minutes and seconds and press “Start with this time”. Opening the page with ?t=seconds (for example ?t=90) sets it for you.
  3. While it runs, “+1 min” adds time and “Pause” stops it for a moment. The time left also appears in the browser tab title.
  4. When time is up, the alarm rings until you press “Stop alarm”. If you hear nothing, check your volume and silent mode.

FAQ

Does the timer keep running in a background tab?

Yes. The time left is calculated from the moment you pressed Start, and the alarm sound is scheduled ahead, so it goes off on time while you work in another tab. Closing the tab or letting the device sleep can silence it.

Why don’t I hear the alarm?

Browsers only play sound after you click something on the page. Make sure you pressed Start yourself, “Alarm sound” is ticked and your device is not muted.

Can I save or share a timer?

When you set a time, ?t=seconds is added to the page address. Bookmark or share that link and it opens with the same time.
