How to use

  1. Type a number in “Value” and choose the units to convert from and to. The page opens on mAh → C.
  2. mAh and Ah are current multiplied by time, so they measure charge. You can turn the capacity printed on a battery into coulombs.
  3. “Show all units” lists the same charge in every unit at once. Huge numbers such as electron counts appear in exponent form, like 6.2e+18.
  4. The page address keeps your value and units, so you can share the link as is.

FAQ

How many coulombs is 1 mAh?

1 mAh is 1 mA flowing for an hour (3600 s), which is 3.6 C. A 5000 mAh battery holds 18,000 C.

Can I convert mAh to Wh?

Only if you know the voltage: Wh = mAh × V ÷ 1000. A 3.7 V, 5000 mAh battery stores about 18.5 Wh. Wh is energy, so it is not part of this charge converter.

How many electrons make one coulomb?

About 6.24 × 10¹⁸. Since 2019 the elementary charge has been fixed at exactly 1.602176634 × 10⁻¹⁹ C.
