    How to use

    1. Drag images onto the box or click to choose them. You can compress many files at once.
    2. Lower “Quality” means a smaller file. For photos, 70–80% usually looks the same to the eye.
    3. Set a maximum width or height to shrink only images larger than that — this saves the most space.
    4. Press and hold “Show original” to compare before and after, then download files one by one or as a ZIP.

    FAQ

Why doesn’t my PNG get much smaller?

PNG is lossless, so the quality setting doesn’t apply. If the image has no transparency, saving it as JPG or WebP makes it much smaller.

What if the result is bigger than the original?

If the size wasn’t changed and the compressed file comes out larger, the original file is kept for download and the list tells you so.

    Is EXIF data kept?

Re-saving removes EXIF metadata such as camera details and GPS location. Files kept as originals still have their original metadata.

    Are my photos uploaded?

No. Compression runs entirely in your browser and your photos are never sent anywhere.
