Number Base Converter (Base 2–36)

Pick the source and target bases, then type one number per line.

Your text and files never leave your browser — nothing is sent to a server.

How to use

  1. Choose the base your numbers are written in (“From”) and the base you want (“To”).
  2. Type or paste one number per line. Negative numbers and numbers with hundreds of digits are supported.
  3. Prefixes such as 0x, 0b and 0o are understood for their base, and spaces, underscores and commas between digits are ignored.
  4. Bases above 10 use the letters A–Z as digits; turn off “Uppercase letters” for lowercase output.

FAQ

Which digits does base 36 use?

Base 36 uses 0–9 followed by A–Z, so Z stands for 35. Letters are read case-insensitively.

Is there a size limit?

No practical limit — the conversion uses JavaScript BigInt, so long numbers keep every digit instead of being rounded.

Can it convert fractions?

This converter works with whole numbers. For binary fractions such as 0.101, use the binary to decimal converter.
