How to use

  1. Pick a direction and an alphabet, then type text or Morse code.
  2. Morse is written with dots (.) and dashes (-): one space between letters and / between words.
  3. Korean is sent one consonant or vowel at a time (가 → .-.. .) and reassembled into syllables when decoding.
  4. The arrow button moves the result into the input and flips the direction, so you can check the round trip.

FAQ

What is SOS in Morse code?

··· −−− ··· — three dots, three dashes, three dots. As a real distress signal it is sent as one unbroken sequence, without gaps between the letters.

Why can decoded Korean differ slightly?

Korean Morse sends consonants and vowels one after another and does not mark where a syllable ends, so a final consonant and the next initial can be ambiguous. The tool assembles the most common combination.

How are small kana and voicing marks handled in wabun?

Wabun has no small kana, so っ and ゃ are sent as full-size ツ and ヤ. The voicing marks ゛ and ゜ are sent as separate codes after the kana and recombined when decoding.
