    FAQ

    Will my photos lose quality?

JPG and PNG files are placed into the PDF as they are, without recompression. Only formats a PDF cannot hold directly, such as WebP or GIF, are converted.

    Will phone photos appear sideways?

No. The rotation stored in the photo is read and the image is placed upright.

    How are text files added?

Lines are wrapped to the page width. Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Chinese, Japanese and Korean text goes in as real text you can select and search; characters the fonts lack, such as emoji, are added as small images. If there are many such characters, or the text is right-to-left like Arabic, the whole file is drawn with your device’s fonts so it displays correctly, but it goes in as an image and cannot be selected.

    Are my files uploaded?

No. The PDF is built entirely in your browser; your images and text never leave your device.
