    How to use

    1. Drag images onto the box or click it to choose files. You can add several at once.
    2. Pick JPG, PNG or WebP under “Convert to”. For JPG and WebP, the “Quality” slider trades file size against detail.
    3. JPG can’t store transparency, so transparent areas of a PNG are filled with the background color you choose.
    4. Check the new size of each file in the list, then use “Download” or “Download all (ZIP)”.

    FAQ

    Are my images uploaded?

    No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser and your files are never sent to a server. Once the page has loaded, it even works offline.

    Which format should I choose?

    Use JPG or WebP for photos to keep files small, and PNG for logos, screenshots and anything with sharp edges or transparency. WebP is usually smaller than JPG at the same quality, but some older apps can’t open it.

    Can it convert animated GIFs?

    Only the first frame is converted into a still image; the animation is not kept.

    Does it support HEIC photos from an iPhone?

    HEIC support varies by browser and usually only works in Safari. On the iPhone, Settings → Camera → Formats → “Most Compatible” makes the camera save JPG instead.
